Focus on the Positive & How You Can Make a Difference

What I love about life is the regenerative effect. There is an inherent ability for us to make all things new. In a different way but with better qualities than there was before.  I start today asking what can I create? What can I make better? It doesn’t have to be a big thing, but add some good to something.  That’s my joy!

My voice is powerful. My time is a resource. My skills are an asset. With God’s guidance, I will use them for the greater good. It is not what happens to you, but what you do with it that has the most significance.

No matter the Supreme Court Justice decision or any other political decision, we have power. It is important that we recognize that and use that to make our world a better place. Start small and move forward.  Take breaks along the way. Have faith. Take time to rejuvenate yourself.  You can’t give what you don’t have.

Here’s what I’m up to today: I’m having lunch with my husband, looking into teaching a free self-help class in my community, and checking out the Jazzercise class. It’s an exercise class I was invited to by the instructor, I met her at our book club (I’m just getting information today).  Oh, by the way, I’m working on the cover of my book this afternoon.

I’ve learned to hire talented people to help me with some tasks.  I used to be a do-it-all-by-yourself type. Those days are gone. Having others on my team makes my projects go so much smoother and I have the time to focus on the big picture. I’ll tell you more about our talented team later.

Remember to turn whatever situation you are facing into a gift with faith and perseverance. And by asking for a little help when you need it.

I picked a few flowers this morning from my garden to make the bouquet above. They are a good addition to my desk.  Add some pretty to your day today!

Love & Blessings,

Stephanie
